Our Goal

We want to improve breast cancer screening rates and reduce deaths among African American women in Ohio.  To do this, we are working with women and heath care providers in 13 counties of the state where breast cancer mortality rates among black women are highest.  Our program offers resources for women to learn more about breast cancer and screening and offers a simple online tool to help women figure out if genetic testing might be right for them. Program staff are also available by phone and email to women who participate in the program.
